REMEMBER

My writings today are going to be direct quotes from Romans 12:9-21.  This is quoted from The New Testament, Nelson's Bible New King James Version NKJV.  As I did my morning bible study I ran across my hand-writing above these verses that said REMEMBER.  I want to share them with you.  As a christian which means "little christ"the books of Romans - Jude (21 books) show christians how to live.  This needs to be a way of life. As you read them, think about God's commandment to "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."  Think about these scriptures throughout your day and try to "REMEMBER" their importance!

Romans 12:9-21. . .9  Let love be without hypocrisy.  Abhor what is evil.  Cling to what is good.  10  Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;  11  not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;  12  rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;  13  distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality,  14  Bless those who persecute you;  bless and do not curse.  15  Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.  16  Be of the same mind toward one another.  Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble.  Do not be wise in your own opinion.  17  Repay no one evil for evil.  Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.  18  If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.  19  Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengenance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.  20  Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him;  If he is thirsty, give him a drink;  For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head."

You know if you are someone who has been wronged in the past, these scriptures can give you comfort.  If you will read, re-read, and research these scriptures, and live according, think about how much easier it will be to put the past behind you and by taking the advice of Romans 12: 9-21 and trying to live by them, you WILL be a happier person because you are not thinking about yourself but others.  I hope this gives you comfort as it has me.  If you are looking for a place to start reading about your christian life, Romans can give you great insight into your future of dealing with life day to day.  People suffer from day to day problems and a few minutes a day of reading can bring so much comfort and puts your mind in the place it should be.

I hope you find comfort in these scriptures and have peace in your life.
