We were each designed in a unique way. We each have natural talents. Use them or lose them!
Psalms 139:13,14 says. . .For you formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
Christians have the ability to have talents both physically and spiritually. Each unique gift can be used for God's glory.. Prayer, for example is a spiritual gift. Even if you believe you're not gifted, God has a plan for everyone. Maybe you're unable to do for others, but if you're capable of a smile, a hug or even a quick call on the phone, you will be surprised at how important that is. It's a gift! How do you feel when someone smiles and gives you words of encouragement? It makes you feel like passing it on to someone else or it can make a bad day turn out to be not so bad after all.
As you go through your day, think about what you can do to make someone's life a little better. You've been given a talent of some kind so use it so people will see "Jesus in you" let his love show through your life. You'll never have any regrets!
Also, remember to teach your children how to love and share that with people in their own lives. We can make this world better one person at a time!
This blog is specifically written with women in mind. I am using my christian faith to go on a journey to find the answers women are looking for in everyday life. We will search the scriptures to get answers to many of life's problems. Please go on this journey with me.

What Is Your Heart's Desire?
What is your heart's desire? Do you want to travel, have a nice home, new car, or maybe a happy marriage? There is nothing wrong with wanting things in life. God won't put you down for having things; but, never forget where they came from. If you are blessed with things, use them for God's glory. As you travel, share Jesus with people you meet. Maybe you would like to go on a mission trip and help those who are having difficulties. Use that new car to pick -up someone and take them to church or help someone elderly or handicapped get groceries or go to the doctor. Open that nice house up for fellowship with others, or offer a room for someone in need.
My reason for bringing these ideas up is to challenge you to "think outside of the box". We get so caught up in our daily routine that we tend to forget to care. We realize that it's not that we are not willing to do these things, but that we just don't think about doing them.
I know that you have a good heart and that you are capable of doing good things for others. Go to God in prayer and ask Him to help guide your natural talents in a direction pleasing to Him and make your heart receptive to loving and caring for others. I can guarantee you that you'll never regret it! You will find yourself looking for the next thing to do. You will get such a good feeling in your heart and you won't believe how much stress you can relieve from yourself when you think of others.
Get started today, I dare you!

Who Am I Really?
Galatians l:10 says. . .Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. NIV
Ask yourself a few questions:
*When was the last time I wondered what God thought about me as a person?
*How do I feel about myself as a person, my imperfections and how others perceive me?
*Do I long for love and end up making poor choices?
*Do I feel anxious and scared about things in my life?
*Do I feel overwhelmed and afraid to say what I really feel?
*Do I feel peer pressure to look and act a certain way?
If so, you're not alone. Life is scarey for most people and dealing with daily pressures can make you isolated, depressed, and literally can cause sickness. First of all remember this. . .people will believe in you and respond to you in a positive way when you first believe in yourself. Psalms 32:8 says he will guide me into what to do and how to act. If you will trust God with your life and learn to lean on him completely you will find the ability to let go of your troubles. Hand them to God as his hands are big enough to handle anything you throw at him. He wants you to be happy and fulfilled in your life. Reach out to a christian friend whom you can trust and share your thoughts and frustrations. God will guide people in your life to help you. God loves you so allow him to be there for you. His love is a love to long for and you can be certain that you never have to ask the question "Does he still love me?" He does and always will! Don't lose out on something wonderful by trying life alone. You will have no fear! If your not a christian yet, I would love for you to contact me so I can direct you on your new path. I will help you find a church and people to love you in your area as I will always be there for you and love you. Today can really be the first day of the rest of your life! Enjoy your day!
